The Otter's Tale was an exhibition at Harestanes (Scottish Borders) showing various artists work with the common otter (Lutra Lutra) as the theme. The idea was to bring local people in the Borders a bit closer to this illusive little animal roaming the Tweed river. I chose to work on local wood, sycamore and beech, sourced from mills near the Tweed valley. These animals are extremely well protected against the cold happen to have some of the most dense fur on the planet. It
